Trusted Technology Partnership Wins 2026 Digital Transformation Innovation Award at Hampshire Business Awards
Trusted Technology Partnership (TT) is proud to announce that we have won the 2026 Digital Transformation – Innovation Award at the Business Awards UK, Hampshire Business Awards.
While we're delighted to receive this recognition, what makes this achievement particularly special is the impact of the project itself. The award recognises our work with a leading NHS Hospital Trust, where we delivered a pioneering NHS.net migration programme that not only transformed the trust's digital environment, but also helped shape a repeatable approach for NHS organisations across England.
Commenting on the award, our Managing Director Pauline Gray said:
“I’m incredibly proud of our team and what we have achieved together. This award recognises the dedication, collaboration and expertise that went into delivering a complex and impactful project. Supporting NHS organisations with technology that enables the consistent delivery of patient care is central to everything we do, and I’m delighted to see that work recognised through this award.”
What made this programme different?
The trust was selected as a pilot site for the NHS England Unite Programme, as one of only six pilot sites this meant we had no existing blueprint, proven migration methodology or previous implementation model to follow. Beyond delivering a migration our team was tasked with helping define how NHS organisations would approach migrations of this type in the future. This required us to think outside the box, as we needed to balance speed, innovation and digital transformation with governance, risk and continuity of patient care.
What we delivered
Working closely with the trust and the national delivery partner, Accenture. We successfully migrated the trust to NHS.net, delivering the programme within an accelerated timeline around half the duration typically associated with projects of this scale.
Throughout the programme, we maintained a relentless focus on stability and patient safety, ensuring that critical services remained operational and that frontline teams experienced minimal disruption during the transition.
The outcome was a modern, secure and nationally aligned digital platform that enables improved collaboration with other NHS organisations, stronger governance and greater long-term digital and cyber resilience.
What Made It Innovative?
The innovation behind this project was not limited to the technical migration itself. It was reflected in how the programme was designed, delivered and scaled.
A Parallel Delivery Model: Rather than following a traditional phased approach, we delivered governance, technical transformation, change management and service transition in parallel. This innovative delivery model significantly reduced timelines while maintaining quality, compliance and control.
A Clinical-First Approach: In healthcare, successful transformation must prioritise the people delivering care. By structuring the migration around clinical workflows and operational priorities, we ensured frontline teams could continue delivering services with minimal disruption throughout the programme.
Managing Application Complexity: With more than 300 applications and integrations to assess, effective risk management was essential. Early-stage assessments identified dependencies and mitigated risks, ensuring patient-critical systems remained operational, and services continued uninterrupted throughout the migration.
Integrated communications framework: Communications was treated as a core delivery workstream rather than a supporting activity. By combining stakeholder engagement, change management and user enablement into a structured communications programme, the project maintained organisational alignment and accelerated user readiness throughout the migration.
Building a Framework for Others to Follow: One of the programme's most significant innovations was the development of a repeatable migration framework. By sharing lessons learned with NHS England and Accenture throughout delivery, we helped create a scalable model that can support future NHS.net migrations nationwide.
Creating a Lasting Impact
While the immediate local benefits were substantial, the programme's impact extends much further.
The lessons, frameworks and delivery approaches developed throughout the project have contributed to the wider NHS Unite Programme and are helping to accelerate future NHS.net migrations across England.
This is what makes the project particularly meaningful to us. It demonstrates how thoughtful innovation can deliver value not only for a single organisation, but for the wider healthcare system.
Recognition for Meaningful Innovation
Winning the Digital Transformation - Innovation Award is a proud milestone for everyone involved in the programme.
The award recognises more than the successful delivery of a complex migration. It acknowledges the collaboration, innovation and dedication that enabled us to deliver a national pilot programme, create a framework for future NHS organisations, and support meaningful digital transformation without compromising patient care.
As healthcare organisations continue to navigate increasingly complex digital challenges, we're proud to play a role in helping them transform with confidence, delivering technology that enables better outcomes for healthcare professionals and patients alike.
